Hip Hop Evolution Showcase Amsterdam

The most important element in Hip Hop culture will be in the spotlights on May 26th and 27th of 2018 in Amsterdam, Knowledge or the education of Hip Hop as a culture! In today’s society we can not imagine a world without Hip Hop culture, yet it has been different in the past. Where is the birth place of Hip Hop and what development has it endured? And why do Hip Hop and activism go hand in hand?
During the weekend of the Hip-Hop Evolution Showcase, in the public library of Amsterdam, dance, storytelling, spoken word, rap, scratching and graffiti are interdisciplinarily brought together to tell the long journey of Hip Hop. There will also be a Junior Family Day program to inform and educate the younger generation.

Check it out on Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of May 2018.
