On September 21st and 22nd 2019, UrbanMatterz will produce between 10 and 20 large and small activities, workshops, concerts and festivals. The core values ​​of UrbanMatterz are Peace, Unity, Love and Having Fun! UrbanMatterz has set itself the goal of spreading Hip Hop culture across the board to the widest possible audience.

If someone had said 5 years ago that HipHop stars in the Bronx would call each other about a cool party in Helmond, you would be considered crazy. Nevertheless, the annual UrbanMatterz Festival in Helmond has become a household name with Oldschool HipHop enthusiasts at home and abroad. The Line-up becomes more impressive every year and attracts both public and HipHop artists from home and abroad. Talking names such as GrandMaster Melle Mel, Schoolly D, Kurtis Mantronik, Roxanne Shante, Rahzel, Jungle Brothers, Just-Ice, Kurtis Blow and T LA Rock have already performed. The UrbanMatterz Oldschool HipHop concert is part of the annual UrbanMatterz Urban and HipHop festival.

Visitors are not only from Helmond or even the Netherlands. UrbanMatterz manages to attract many international guests to Helmond every year. They felt warmly welcomed by the city, the entrepreneurs (hotels, restaurants and shops) and of course the festival. Hotels in Helmond are fully booked with guests who arrive the Friday prior to the festival and immerse themselves for a weekend in a great old school and urban vibe.
