Salt-N-Pepa – Biopic

Directed by Mario Van Peebles, Salt-N-Pepa narrates the story of Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and Deidra DJ Spinderella” Roper as they push their way to the top of the charts, cementing themselves as one of the most influential groups in hip-hop history.

The movie/docu  tells the inspiring story of nursing students Salt and her partner in rhyme, Pepa about their rise to fame and their influence in the culture of Hip Hop, as a smashing rap group thanks to some beats provided by their pal Hurby “Luv Bug” Azor.
