Amsterdam Breaking Community – Groundwork

The Amsterdam Breaking Community (ABC) offers a home to all Amsterdam breakers and lovers of Hip Hop culture from the Netherlands and abroad. With their own spot in the House of Urban Sports in Amsterdam New-West, breakers of all ages and levels can go to ABC for open training on Wednesday and Friday evenings (19.00-22.00) and Saturday afternoon (14.00-18.00);

For the younger generations there are also group lessons to take earlier on those days. In addition, ABC will also organize (inter)national workshops and events.
Dietrich Pott aka BBoy Dietje – Surinam BBoy (Rhythm Souldjaz) and Jur Jurskee Bouterse (Break A Leg) together with the Amsterdam breaking community give substance to the program. ABC is realized with financial and organizational support from ISH Dance Collective and with a subsidy from the City of Amsterdam.
